Soldiers are strong
"Tough times can threaten to overwhelm us but the strong endure pressure. Not only do they endure, they turn the situation around. Our strength is clearly revealed as the pressures of leadership increase. The measure of stress we can live with is the measure of our strength. Physically strong pple can carry physically heavy loads. Strong leaders carry the burdens of leadership w/o collapsing. Our need is not for a greater understanding of the pressure but for more strength. Without strength, the leader loses patience under pressure. They lose joy facing the impossible. None of us are equal to the call God places upon us so we need to gain strength from the strong. We need to wait on the Lord."


Soldiers are disciplined
"Discipline is consistently doing the things you should do. Discipline's choice is a life lived by principles rather than feelings. Discipline has already decided how she will live, before meeting the fork in the road. Her choices have already been made, there is no pondering. Our heart is in the hand of our will. Even love and forgiveness can be summoned through choice. We are all responsible to love through choice. In the absence of pre-made choices, we are at the mercy of our emotions, which were never meant to rule us, but rather to serve us. We fixed pre-determined decisions in the clear minded space of zero pressure. We need to set our boundaries before we meet the situations that test them. We need to wait on the Lord."

Soldiers are strong & disciplined; we will too, if we learn to wait upon the Lord, we seek His opinion &
we PRAY.
